The Latino Community Development Corporation hosts several events throughout the year, to help less fortunate Latino families in Central Indiana, including our annual fundraiser (Latino Swing Golf Classic) and a community support event (Santa Comes to Town).
In addition to these various events, LCD runs a mobile pantry, provide job assistance, and educational support.
Health and Safety in the Workplace Fair
The Mexican Consul is sponsoring a Health and Safety in the Workplace Fair on June 7th, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Champions Pavilion of the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
This event is designed to offer documentation services to the Hispanic community, dependent on the participation of selected Latin American consulates in Chicago and an estimated attendance of at least 1200 people. The event will offer a diverse array of services in the areas of health, education, federal service programs, financial education, as well as a forum for the cultural and musical promotion of the Latin American countries represented.

Latino Swing Golf Classic
The Latino Swing Golf Classic was held Friday, May 16th, and once again at The Brickyard Crossing. It was run in conjunction with the events that surround the Indianapolis 500. Over 27 teams competed in the event, and beautiful weather helped to make it a truly enjoyable day.
Santa Comes to Town
We recently completed our 13th annual Santa Comes to Town, with complete success. We were able to serve over 700 families and some area churches with food and toys, thanks to our sponsors and volunteers.
